If you need to disable BrightSlide for any reason, this article shows you the steps to do that. This is different to uninstalling as you can re-enable BrightSlide at any time. To re-enable BrightSlide, simply follow the same instructions.

Windows

1. Start PowerPoint.
2. Click File / Options / Add-ins.
3. Change the Manage drop down at the bottom of the window from COM Add-ins to PowerPoint Add-ins:
   
4. Click the Go button.
5. Uncheck BrightSlide in the resulting window and click Close.

macOS

1. Start PowerPoint
2. Click Tools / PowerPoint Add-ins…
3. Uncheck BrightSlide in the resulting window and click Close.
